Gynecologic Oncologists are cancer specialists who have received additional years of intensive medical training in the study and treatment of malignancies in the female reproductive tract. Gynecologic Oncologists deliver state-of-the-art care by individualized treatment plans to ensure the best outcome for each patient. Surgical options may include minimally invasive surgery and radical pelvic surgery.
Gynecologic Oncologists also participate in pathology assessment, genetic counseling, radiation therapy planning, and chemotherapy treatment.
If additional treatments are needed, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy, you will make your appointment in those departments. These offices are located on the first floor of Clearview Cancer Institute (Russel Hill location).
