Karen Mann Brown, Nurse Practitioner

Karen Mann-Brown, CRNP, DNP has over 20 years of experience in oncology. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of North Alabama followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. After receiving her certification as a Nurse Practitioner, she earned a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama. Dr. Mann’s dissertation on “Educating Newly Diagnosed Cancer Patients” was published in the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing. She served as the President of the North Alabama Oncology Nursing Society and was a National Speaker for Novartis on the treatment of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. She enjoys gardening with her husband and doing activities with her grandchildren.
