As we step into a new month, it’s time to celebrate and honor the remarkable contributions of women in the field of medicine. September marks Women in Medicine Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the achievements of female healthcare professionals and their vital role in shaping the healthcare landscape.
We especially want to recognize the four female oncologists who provide care for Clearview Cancer Institute: Dr. Heather Shah, Dr. Heather Brody, Dr. Sri Bathini and Dr. Amy Stubbs. These doctors provide compassionate care to their patients every day and bring significant value to patients and the healthcare system as a whole. Their diverse perspectives, empathy, communication skills, patient advocacy, and focus on preventive care contribute to a more patient-centered, inclusive, and effective healthcare system.
