June 7, 2023 – The care team at Clearview Cancer Institute (CCI) is expanding with the addition of three new physicians. Dr. Rishi Patel, Dr. Rami Atallah and Dr. Sri Bathini will treat hematology and oncology patients.
“It’s our goal to provide comprehensive cancer care, close to home. Patients do not have to leave north Alabama for excellent care and expanding our provider team will allow us to meet the needs of the growing communities we serve,” said Gary Walton, Chief Executive Officer at Clearview Cancer Institute.

Meet the New Physicians
Dr. Rishi Patel
Beginning July 31st, Dr. Rishi Patel will see patients in the Decatur-Plaza II clinic, located at 1407 14th Avenue, Decatur, Alabama.
- Medical degree: University of Kentucky
- Residency: University of Illinois at Chicago – Internal Medicine
- Fellowship: University of Alabama Birmingham College of Medicine, O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center – Hematology, Oncology
Dr. Patel grew up in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a small town just north of Nashville. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys playing tennis and pickleball with his family, making wine, and traveling.
Dr. Rami Atallah
Beginning August 7, Dr. Rami Atallah will see patients in the Anniston clinic, located at 901 Leighton Avenue, Suite 600, Anniston, Alabama.
- Medical degree: Lebanese American University
- Postdoctoral fellowship: M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston
- Residency: University of Kansas in Wichita – Internal Medicine
- Fellowship: Emory University – Hematology, Oncology
Dr. Atallah is happy to live and practice in the southeast and likes to travel in his spare time.

Beginning September 8, Dr. Sri Bathini will see patients in the Huntsville-Russel Hill clinic, located at 3601 CCI Drive, Huntsville, Alabama.
