Dr. Ali Hachem
Dr. Hachem spent his early years in Lebanon before pursuing a career in medicine. He earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in 1998. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut in 2003, where he was honored to serve as Chief Medical Resident.
Dr. Hachem went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Maryland in 2006, where he was also appointed Assistant Clinical Instructor. He is board-certified in Hematology and Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. In recognition of his professional achievements and commitment to excellence, he was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) in November 2022.
Dr. Hachem has held academic appointments as a Clinical Instructor and currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Huntsville Program.
Dr. Hachem joined The Cancer Center of Huntsville in 2006 and became a United States citizen in 2015. In 2026, he joined Clearview Cancer Institute, where he continues to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hachem enjoys traveling with his wife and is a proud father of twin daughters and a son.
