Dr. Ehab El-Bahesh

Dr. Ehab El-Bahesh grew up in Marshall County, where his father continues to practice pediatrics. He received his bachelors degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his M.D. from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2009.

Following completion of his residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University (GWU), Dr. El-Bahesh practiced Internal Medicine at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia. Later, he completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at GWU, receiving recognition for achieving perfect scores in his in-training examinations in both, Hematology and Oncology – a first in the history of GWU.

Dr. El-Bahesh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology with numerous publications in the fields of malignant hematology, genitourinary cancers, gastrointestinal diseases, lung cancer, and immunotherapy. He is married with two children and enjoys spending his free time with his family watching movies, hiking, and traveling.
