Dr. Marshall Schreeder

Dr. Marshall Schreeder is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and has practiced medicine in Huntsville since 1979. He completed his undergraduate training in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Schreeder received his M.D. and M.P.H. degrees from Tulane University, and after completing his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals, he held the position of Medical Epidemiologist for the Centers for Disease Control for three years.

He moved to Alabama to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Schreeder is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He has authored over 30 research papers and articles concerning viral hepatitis, liver cancer, and lung cancer. He has been certified with FACT as a qualified bone marrow transplant physician. He is past president of the Alabama Society of Clinical Oncology and of the Medical Staff of the Huntsville Hospital System. He is currently Chairman of the Cancer Committee and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Dr. Schreeder and his wife have four children, and seven grandchildren. He enjoys a variety of outdoor sports such as tennis, golf, hunting, and skiing.
