Cleo Valdez, Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP)

Cleo Valdez joined the CCI staff in 2015. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University while working as an RN in Opelika, Alabama. Later, she obtained her master’s degree in Nursing from UAB. For the last 17 years, Cleo has worked in the field of oncology as both a nurse and nurse practitioner. She spent nearly five years as a CRNP for CCI based out of Huntsville Hospital before transitioning to the outpatient setting. Now, Cleo has worked with Dr. Jorge Diaz for the last four years. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with her sons and husband.
