Kayla Gibbs, Nurse Practitioner

Kayla Gibbs began her nursing career at Huntsville Hospital on the Oncology and Stem Cell unit after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL in 2018. While working on the Oncology Unit, she obtained a chemotherapy certification and stem cell therapy training. At Huntsville Hospital, she transitioned to the Emergency Room as a nurse while completing her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She then joined the CCI team in August 2023. Kayla is a North Alabama native who enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys cuddling with her pets, Remy and Ruger.
