Mary Nalan, Physician Assistant

Mary Nalan is a native to Memphis, TN. She completed a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Tennessee Tech University in 2015. She then went on to earn her masters in public health from the University of Memphis, while working as an EMT and graduate research assistant. Mary’s graduate research involved working on the data analysis team for a grant-funded project that assessed barriers to care for Medicaid patients with non-small cell lung cancer. This experience provided a passion for oncology care and patients. Results of this project have since been published. Mary went on to further her education by attending the physician assistant program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in order to step into the provider role. Prior to joining Clearview Cancer Institute, Mary worked as a physician assistant in the hematology and oncology field. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, climbing, cooking with her boyfriend, and practicing yoga.
